Don joined the McCrate, DeLaet & Co in 1978 as an accounting and auditing partner and today is also a wealth management advisor. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams, as well as the Ohio Life & Health Insurance exam. Don specializes in personal financial planning, construction industry, non-profit organizations, technology applications, employee benefit plans, and accounting and auditing standards. He received his Bachelor of Arts in accounting and finance in 1978 from Miami University of Ohio. In previous years, Don served as the treasurer and director of the Sidney/Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, president of the Sidney/Shelby County YMCA and president and trustee of Wilson Memorial Hospital. Don looks at his role toward his clients as one of a counselor who provides guidance on financial and tax matters, and he works with his clients to help them achieve financial independence, offering them an improved process of planning for life’s critical financial events. Don lives in Sidney with his wife, Bev; their three children, Lauren, Ryan and Christian; and their dog and two cats. He enjoys cycling, playing racquetball, golfing and snow skiing.

Dave’s career with McCrate, DeLaet & Company began in 1989. As a tax partner and certified public accountant, Dave specializes in tax services. He is also a financial advisor and Personal Financial Specialist with McCrate, DeLaet Financial Advisors and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams and the Ohio insurance exam. His comprehensive experience and knowledge allow him to advise clients effectively on the entire scope of their financial situations, including estate planning and financial services. He has a deep understanding of how to help clients make tax-optimized decisions about their retirements, estate planning, investments and insurance situations.
Dave graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor in Business Administration in accounting and finance. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Ohio Society of CPAs. As an active member of the community, Dave serves as treasurer of Connection Point Church of God and former chair of the Finance Committee for Dorothy Love Retirement Community.
Dave and his wife, Cheryl, live in Sidney, where they enjoy bicycling, motorcycling and spending time with their family, which includes their three grown children.

Sarah is a partner at McCrate, DeLaet & Company. She started as a staff member of the firm in 2006 and has continued with a passion to help her clients. She is responsible for preparing and reviewing returns and financial statements, directing the firm's tax preparation process. Sarah is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, focusing on their tax and small business sections. Sarah is also a financial advisor and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams. Sarah participates in Women in Leadership of West Central Ohio and is a member of the Sidney Rotary Club. She is the co-chair for Ft. Recovery Combined Charity. Sarah specializes in the agriculture industry and taxation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, gifting, and QuickBooks. She earned a master’s in accounting with a taxation specialization and a bachelor’s in business administration with a specialization in accounting, both from Bowling Green State University. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking and reading. She lives on a farm near Fort Recovery with her husband, Tim, and they have three children—Charlie, Kaitlyn and Kent.

Mark joined McCrate, DeLaet & Company in 2010 with six years of prior experience at a large multinational accounting firm. Mark specializes in taxation (corporate, partnership, individual, and estate), business valuations, wealth management planning, and other business consulting services. Mark holds the CVA credential (Certified Valuation Analyst) and has performed business valuations for purposes including estate and gift taxation, marital dissolution, mergers and acquisitions, and purchase price allocations.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts. He serves his community as a board member for S&H Products and the New Knoxville Ranger Athletic Boosters.
Mark attended the University of Cincinnati and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and his master’s in taxation. In addition to the CPA and CVA credentials, he passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams, as well as the Ohio Life & Health Insurance exam.
Mark lives in New Knoxville with his wife Kristy and their three children. Outside of work he enjoys sports, golfing, and family time.

Kevin joined McCrate, DeLaet & Company in 2016 with previous corporate tax experience. He is a professional member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kevin graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting & Finance. Specializations include corporate and individual taxation. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and has also passed the FINRA series 7 and 66. Kevin lives in Osgood with his wife Katrina and daughter Lucy. He enjoys watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and staying active outside.

Brad joined McCrate, DeLaet & Company in 2018 as a full-time Wealth Management Advisor after having spent the past 11 years as a financial advisor with a Fortune 500 company. He specializes in investment portfolio management and design, insurance and risk management, retirement planning, and business retirement plans (401k, Simple, SEP IRAs). He has a passion for the investment world and enjoys analyzing investment trends, market cycles, and current economic news.
Brad graduated in 2005 from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. He has passed the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 exams, and holds his Ohio Life & Health insurance license.
Brad is an active member of his community. He is currently serving as president of the New Knoxville Ranger Athletic Boosters, and vice president of the New Knoxville Youth Baseball board. He has also served as a member of his church board and past president of West Central Ohio NAIFA.
Brad lives in New Knoxville with his wife Krista and their three children Connor, Caleb, and Courtney. He enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his family and friends in his spare time.
